In a dreamlike reality, a young boy wakes up in a city full of lights found within the clouds. It is said that a Land of Lanterns exists for the wandering and restless souls. Confused, the boy wanders to find help and assistance to return home. What the boy does not know is that he had suffered from a brain injury and has fallen into a coma, and his mind has traveled to the Land of Lanterns. He must help wandering souls rest in order to open the door that leads home, or risk wandering for eternity.
